Audio Transmission Over/Using LAN: any ideas?

I want to share/transmit a sound that's already playing on my PC1 to the rest of the PCs in my LAN. For example, I'm playing an mp3 file on my PC1, I want PC2-PC10 to also hear it.

Right now, I'm planning to use an IM and put all my PCs in one LAN to conference mode or something like that. But I still need to test it so if anyone here has any ideas of how to do this in the best way possible, it would be very much appreciated.
