For Normal use, same2 ra man ang price range sa tanan except sa "not so big names" like Neo and etc.
if mu buy ta sa gawas, yes maka barato jud ta pero most of the time di ma honor ang warranty dre, but as long as ampingan ang branded notebook, ligun jud kau na,

BUT if mu buy ka dre sa pinas, kuha jud ug excellent after sales support. Nothing beats good customer service. period

For gaming notebooks, its another thing

i would check if it has a dedicated video and the processor. the rest puede ra nimo ma palit... like memory puede ra ma ilisdan o madungagan.

im a graduating student in UP.im planning to buy a laptop so that it will be convenient for me to make my thesis.

9k-11k budget would give you a low-end laptop... try stretching ur budget a bit to purchase a brand new ASUS EEE PC which prices may range from 16k-20k...
