    Default folder options in control panel has gone


    please help me retrieving my folder options in my control panel..what will I do?

    i bet you have some hidden files... hahahaha

    well virus na...

    just try system restore first then if youre lucky and it works makita nana nya try to show all your hidden files..
    but dont think na nwala na ang virus coz its still there.. you need to reformat your pc or get newer version of antivirus..

    if d muwork then 2nd choice is reformat your pc if your lucky enough that you have partitioned it thats good if not well thats "MALAS" mawala jud na tanan..

    I TRied this one form other furum... try lang para ma retireve nimo imo hiiden files.. den format lang after kay virus na cya..

    eto gawin mo

    1. Open Registry Editor. Click Start>Run, type REGEDIT, then press Enter.
    2. In the left panel, double-click the following:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Curre ntVersion>Policies>Explorer
    3. In the right panel, locate and delete the entry:
    NoFolderOptions = "1"
    4. Close Registry Editor.

    spybot search and destroy. asta problems with task manager matangtang.

    bro simply search the filename and then change the attribute to unhide it. and then backup important files then reformat

    the missing folder options is only the payload. you need to make sure na wala na ang malware or else your folder option will just keep on disappearing. you can cleanup your pc with an antivirus loaded with latest definitions. as for the payload, your antivirus usually wont reverse it for you, you have to do it manually.

    this will work but like i said, magbalik2x ra ang problema until malimpyo imo PC.

    if virus na, try to check kung makapa run bka sa regedit and/or task manager.... kay kung dili, basin mag lisod japon ka enable ana via regedit specially.... try pud kaha ipa slave nimo sa laing computer nga limpyo and with anti virus para didto mag scan....
