"Hi,


You may have friends, colleagues or relatives planning (as i am & my siblings) to buy tickets for the Earth, Wind & Fire concert on March 05, 2008 at the (Abellana) Cebu City Sports Complex. This is aired on the radio actually. Good thing i happened to share my excitement (of finally able to watch EWF live) w/ Janice & Alva. What they’ve told me is disconcerting coz they’ve heard that it aint the real EWF. Rumor has it that it’s a “no name” group who has one of its members playing with EWF before – a brief stint that is. Yup, NO Philip Bailey (lead singer since Maurice White retired, NO Verdine White to play the bass, NO Ralph Johnson (percussion & vocals), or Sheldon Reynolds (for the vocals & guitar), NO Gary Bayers (to play the sax), etc.


I checked EWF’s official website (www.earthwindandfire.com) for the group’s tour schedule & the rumor is true…they’ll be in Germany at that time from March 3 to March 14 in a series of concerts starting in Leipzig.
