we have so many intelligent politicians.
i believe we need to raise our children intelligent as well as values oriented.

a dumb to average, honest kid or an intelligent liar?
i also read an article, it was about the top or honor students in the class are not usually the brightest meaning the have highest IQ's but merely the most dilligent. it is very rare that a child or an individual for this matter, possess both high IQ & EQ altogether.
^i believe truly intelligent individuals are values or principles oriented.
the great men and women in history i read about eventually realized that the world is governed by timeless laws or principles, like integrity and the golden rule.
so i go for true intelligence, not superficial intelligence marked by stubbornness or ignorance of life laws.

that's the thing, they know the rules of life laws too much at an early age that they can devise a way to manipulate and/or circumvent it.
they can see the left, right, top, bottom, front and back of life and can see the entire forest and master each tree and conquer the forest. get the point? having this confidence they know that they can easily do it. i don't think this is superficial intelligence, though there is a tendency that this gift will not be used wisely, it is still practical and relevant, pure, genuine intelligence nonetheless.
I will read the whole article later, but I already got the gist.
lying = intelligence
where intelligence is being smart and savvy. these people get ahead in life of course. besides, getting ahead is about having power--money, authority, ability to charm and manipulate people, etc. This is the kind of life laws we learn.
that's intelligence, sure, but i consider true intelligence marked by higher consciousness. kanang awareness of the true nature of things, like knowing the what lying, manipulation, and power play really are.
so for me, true intelligence = higher consciousness
"kids who grasp early the nuances between lies and truth use this knowledge to their advantage, making them more prone to lie when given the chance."
hala noh... havent read the whole article yet.. just skimmed it..
my almost 4 yr old niece raba gyud lies.. guol gani mi kay balo na mamakak

ang ako pag umangkon pwerte ka bakakon, maglagot gani jud me.
agree ko ni Velvett: true intelligence = higher consciousness

makadaot man sad tingale na not only sa imong isig -kaingon but in the eyes of God.....naa na sa ten commandments di ba?
