I guess its BRL Failure (BluRay Lens). I suggest you go to itech ayala. They can replace your lens so that you can play with your PS3 in no time. ^_^

If you don't mind answering a few of my questions, here they are: (for the benefit of all those are interested)
1. How long did you have your PS3 before this happened?
2. What version is it (Asian, Japanese, US)?
3. Where did you buy it?
4. How much is the Hard Disk Space? (So, that we will know which bundle/package you have)

I hope you can answer these questions. Just go to the store I stated above and you'll get your PS3 fixed. Good luck.

yup, been hearing this prob in ps3.. good thing is ps3 probs are easy to repair & a lot of available spare parts.
pero i'll research & study into this matter if may spare time

yes i hav read it from pinoy psx pro wat they suggested is to hav it repaired at EYO which is located in manila man pud gud. cge thanx. maybe i shud try in i center.

thanx for the info bro^__^ i guess its blue ray failure jud based on wat i researchd on some forums.^__^ well, anyways, here are the answrss to ur questions.

1) i hav ds ps3 in less than a month>>> i cant hav it fix to the seller coz i bought it in singapore. worst thing is, its not from a sony center.

2)so basically, it is bought in singapore, so it is an asian version.
