    Default 2 AVR's busted within 5 minutes

Guys, maybe naa moy idea what's wrong.

Nagbrown out amung place. Then bago ra ni balik ang kuryente. We turned on the AVR#1 (with pc, monitor & speakers connected to it). It won't turn on.

So I used our spare avr. When I plugged the monitor and speakers sa AVR#2, okay pa. When I plugged the computer, wa na mu on.

    Specs:
    AVR
    - Protec 500W
    - Monster
    Power Strip
    - Panther Voltage Surge Protector

TLDR: 2 AVRs got busted which were connected to a panther voltage surge protector power strip.

    * What do you think went wrong? Ang electricity current is too strong?
    * Any advices on what to do next? Or what to buy to prevent this from happening?

not recommended to use thicker wire

if you use thicker wire, then you're allowing the circuit to overload and not cutting the over current feeding the circuit..

try AVR#3 from different outlet, not the same room. like if your pc is in your room try sa sala or kitchen, might have some problem sa imu socket.

for your AVRs, try to check your Fuse as what Archfear said.

it doesnt hurt to buy a fuse worth 5 pesos.

suwayi palit og daghang fuse. nya plug avr to different outlets. kung asa na outlet ma busted ang avr aw kana klaro na jud something is wrong with the outlet
