Tao Te Ching and Christianity

As people study the Tao, they are often struck by the many similarities to the New Testament. In fact, some Taoists feel that Taoism spread to Israel in Jesus' time, influencing Christ. There are many historical and theological reasons why that is extremely unlikely. Instead, I believe the similarities are due to the universal nature of wisdom. As the Buddha said: Truth is true in all places and times and applies to all people. It isn't surprising then, that wise people in different times and places made the same observations about life.

This section of the New Testament discusses the relationship between God and those who have never directly been exposed to Jesus' teachings:
Romans 1:20,22,23,25
20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. . .

. . . 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. . .

25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.

If you ask me which one... then I go for Christ because he reveal his story personally he came down from heaven to be a carpenter's son he lives with us, died on the cross for a penalty he never deserve. No other God did this humility, compassion and LOVE. My conclusion is that It is up to you guys to choose which one you will serve.

As of Now no one did destroyed the Bible. It is accounted that there are aroun 1.5Billion to almost 2Billion believers (not accurate). Statistics show no one ever discredit the Bible. If you insult God then someone someone must and will rebuke you guys not because we are friend or relative but because God love's you and God is touching someones heart to show it to you. Thats the most we can do for now as Christians.

They share the techinicality for that word "christ" for the sake of it as having the meaning of "the annointed", but the essence of Jesus is more than just a man or a prophet, saint or religious master, you cannot compare him to saints and your masters of other religions. He is a true man and a true God.
