...........for god's sake!!! they are not the same!!! can't you hear the truth, music today sucks, the compositions are boring. compare linkin parks song to metallica's "sad but true", do they have the same quality?? NO!!! Does linkin park have incredible guitar solos nor cool drum lines?? NO!!! so please people don't ever say that they are the same..........way back when i'm still learning to play the drums i got a very hard time cause the bands that i'm listening to, metallica, megadeth, testament, have very complicated drumlines, i have to hone my ears and my limbs to be able to comprehend and appreciate them. But now, sad to say that all you hear is screaming and monotonous drumlines, for short..BORING.

ya gots uh point sir hoorah for old school muzic!!... but ta point out somethin' linkin park ain't da only new skool gang around .. well if ya gots actually lstened ta all da new skoo material out dere they're fine ass phat ... dr not boring... some o' dem may not gots da grabe solos an' drumlines ... but dey gots texture... ... an' w/ drumlines? ....uh lot o' new skoo drummers actual incorporate uh lot o' odd tyme and complicated signatures in thr drumlines ...which iz phat!!ü an' actually uh lot o' dem new skoo peeps can play grabe technical shredding ... twelilingtwelilingfingertapsweeptwelililing² solos an' "way pananghiray" chududog² technical drumlines ... but dey rather not .. dey sacrifice musicianship w/ substance an' artistry... cuz dat's how thins' r nowadays... artists basically keep up w/ da times.. coz talent iz not only measured by technicality or how well u do ur solos or drumlines...

well ah gots basically listened ta old skoo muzic most o' muh ma life ah love da raw sound ,sheer musicianship da long virtuoso solos... etc.... ah gots great respect fo' da old skoo peeps but i'd rather jet w/ da new scool pimpz... they're mo' creative, mo' abstract... mo' focused on da sonics/ texture an' visuals o' da songs... ..... muzic has really evolved an' ah really like da direction it'staking artist dis here days are mo' focused on how da entire song would sound not on they individual sound/ muzicianship.. etc whatever... we's gots less o' dem solos an' mo' o' da visuals!!! it'sall about da visuals baby!!
