state of emergency naman
OT:
vanceloma: ang films? hehehe.
I agree that it is a state of emergency and its about time for change in the local film industry scene, in fact its so way overdue.
Before, in the 1930s to 1950s, the Philippines was at the forefront of the Asian film industry. In fact we were the entertainment pioneer and its capital.
In fact, we were head to head with many Western films during the 1970s.
But somehow, we took a wrong turn sometime in the late 1980s and a better part of the 90s. There are so many factors that could be alleged to be the cause but now it isn't the time to place blame.
It's time to work. And right here in Cebu is the best place to start. And we have to start it with the full awareness not to repeat the systemmatic mistakes and behavioral flaws, past and current, the industry in Manila have.
Let's get to work, people.
What we do in life echoes throughout eternity~ Please support your lokal artists and their efforts to promote the Cebuano identity and culture!
