cheap camera + expensive lens

i'm good with this setup:

7D + 85mm f1.8

Expensive body(5Dmkii or 1dmk1v) + Cheap Lens(85mm 1.. It would be a perfect combo for me.
(Unsaon man wala paman tay budget para expensive body.) shallower DOF on portrait, detailed on landscape. 85mm is 85mm on full frame, faster and low noise indoor, fast fps (except 5Dmkii but enough for me).
But any advantage has a disadvantage.,any disadvantage has an advantage.
Mag depende lang gyud sa budget, Ug kung feel sab nimu imung cheap body dili na maka satisfy sa imuha. mao lang ako ma share.
Satisified ko sa akoang body so far, but i want to go further.

daghan ni vote for regular body + hi end lens. but if you check out the buy and sell forums, people are getting rid of their camera bodies for an upgrade. does this contradict to our poll? or does this mean these people have already achieved the needed lens and are now moving on to upgrade their camera bodies?

hmm, begginer raman pud ko. pero para nako kay any body will do bastaa the lens ang payter. im using an olympus e410 (not so expensice na dslr) pero nindot man pud puhon ang pics..=p
