FRENCH TOAST... with a twist
2 thick bread slices, with holes cut in the center
1/2 cup fresh milk
2 tbsp butter
2 eggs
place a small glass in the center of the sliced bread and cut around it, creating a hole in the middle. do the same on the second slice.
dip the hollowed bread in a bowl of milk, letting it get moist but not soggy.
heat a nonstick skillet on medium flame. melt 1 tbsp butter. place a slice of bread in the pan. fry until golden brown. turn the slice over and crack an egg into the empty center. lower the heat. allow egg to cook slowly until the whites have set.
repeat procedure with second slice.

this dish needs practice though. before ko na kahimo ug perfect one, nakasuway ko nga nabuak ang egg ug nabungkag ang bread. be patient lang gyud in slow-cooking the egg.
