dli mn tanan time answeron ang imung prayers... just keep praying all the time.
Prayers are always answered , its juts that we are not expecting it the way we intended our wishes for.
That is why , there is something what we call , " BLESSINGS in DISGUISE " .
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
unsa man pud imong prayer? kay ako na lang tubag hehehe
they are not answered because you were not listening to your brethren.
just dont be selfish in everything and anything you do.
be thankful when you pray...dont ask for something that is impossible.
.

I'll tackle this in reverse. Yes, my conception of a God is my understanding of it. The concept God has a rather vague definition, as admitted by many intellectuals and philosophers. The moment you start to define God you'll run into various contradictions. Even the First Cause definition seems meaningless. As Hawking puts it: Asking if causality has a beginning is the same as asking if a circle has an edge. So, people invariably are left with giving adjectives: the Omni-somethings. And even with the purported "QUALITIES of GOD", one would still run into contradictions...and in order to explain without really explaining, theists invoke the word "MYSTERY".
In principle, anyone who doesn't believe in a particular God is an atheist. I mean there's not much difference between believing in the wrong God and not believing in the God(s) of any of these religions. There's about equal condemnation traditionally heaped on the following groups: Deists, Infidels, Heretics and Atheists. And yes, you can count me in.
Secondly, it isn't an irony for an atheist (although I would object to labels, personally) to say something about a God. I don't suppose you're familiar with the great intellectuals in history who are atheists and who had plenty to say about God. In the same way, it's not an irony for me to enjoy watching Harry Potter movies as a non-believer in the existence of Hogwarts.
I hope your act of labeling is not to restrict what I can say.
The question "How did I know all of these?" suggests either a difficulty in following a rather simple train of thought or you are just interpreting my statements as expression of arrogance. I'm very sorry you feel that way, but making statements that disagrees with your worldview shouldn't be taken as arrogance. The omission of phrases "From what I understand" or "In my opinion" shouldn't be construed as arrogance either. This is almost tantamount to nitpicking...which I hope is beneath you.
Care to enlighten me on what you mean by "Divine Plan" as a Christian?
Well, discussions would be more interesting and stimulating if there's an exchange instead of questioning motives. It's like playing tennis and asking why the other player made a serve and then calling him "ironic" and "atheist". You're supposed to get the ball to the other side of the court. Game, set, serve....stop asking why I say what I say...hehehe
Peace, @spring.
