I'm not a member of any frat but daghan ko amigong fratman nga buotan.

Than how would you respond in explanation debunking my opinion in reference to the statement I gave about USC's stand on FRATERNITIES ?

Fraternities these days are so violent. They kill and create chaos just to get attention. The essence of brotherhood isn't there anymore. It's more like a gang than a fraternity. But for Sororities, here in Cebu, it's not so rampant. But if I were to choose a fraternity I'd go for APO. They got standards. I got recruited once, but I declined.. I wasn't confident of my grades. I knew they got high standards.

    My apologies.

"The funny thing is , most of the staff , faculty in one way or the other were FRATMAN and SORMEN themselves back in the days or were involved and familiarized with the system ."

    My deduction:
Would they be (in a sense) ignorant when they themselves are former members? I think it is more of fear. Fear that frat wars of sorts may start to threaten the new comers and which may deplete their annual earnings of tuition. The number of students may decrease. They might be just providing some sort of safety measures to help parents understand that their premises is perfectly safe to enter. Although, I'm not really trying to make correct out of this statement. I do not really know either.

Being both a fratman and a Carolinian as well, we all know what's going on with USC's administration these days, they are so concerned about USC's "image". With the frat-related issues before, for sure they are aware about how the public view fraternities, thus in no longer recognizing fraternities in the campuses, it makes USC look "safe" for students. And what does it result? More students, more money.

@ PIOLO and COSPLAY .... that is exactly my sentiments but the point which I am trying to put out is , do they limit the FRATERNITIES only to GREEK LETTERED ORGANIZATIONS ?
