comparing the same architecture bro (Core 2 in this example), tan-awa ila clock, makakita ka nga mas paspas ang speed sa dual core nga Core 2 compared sa quad core nga Core 2. ang advantage sa quad core kay you get 2 additional threads nga pwede magamit sa imo software. your processor can execute more parallel threads compared sa dual core. but for programs nga dili mo-exploit ani nga extra threads or cores, aw you are better off with a dual core nga mas taas ang speed.

say a carabao has four legs it doesn't mean it can run as fast as an ostrich which only has two legs,...gets? peace

A quad core could be faster, clock speed aside, if the app or game utilizes all four cores. As of now, majority of the games and app can only utilize up to two. Daghan pa gani single threaded app ug games karon. So better off with a high clocked dual core than a low clocked quad unless if your into overclocking.

With those posted specs, not overclocking the hardware would be a waste of investment. Get the Q6600 and let it run at 3.6Ghz and enjoy quadcore computing!

theory ra na bro, pero in the real world d jud na mahitabo nga molabaw and performance sa c2D ky sa quad. actually im using those proc.
