I'm no lawyer. But the way I understand it, we will also be slapped with Sec. 30 of this Act -- which means it supersedes any laws or provisions inconsistent or redundant with this Act.
SEC. 30. Repealing Clause. —
All laws, decrees or rules inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. Section 33(a) of Republic Act No. 8792 or the “Electronic Commerce Act” is hereby modified accordingly.
