Maybe to work or travel but I'll live and die in the Philippines. Much as the Filipinos have negative attitudes they also have positive attitudes and family values. You can't find that most anywhere. Undisciplined? Not all Filipinos are like that. Corrupt? Not all government officials are like that. As I've answered my interviewer in first year college, I still believe that there is hope in the Philippines.
Nindot man i work sa gawas kay dako ug sweldo etcetera then ang sweldo imo man gihapon i suroy, ang kwarta imo gihapon i gasto. Pero kung wa na kay kwarta makakaon ba gihapon ka sa gawas? Example sa US if wala ka work ba ron (though hard working man jd ang pinoy) maka kuha ba ka ug kamunggay sa gawas unya mao imo sud.anon? Hehehe. Basta wui, I still believe in the Philippines.![]()
@rhame: Sakto jud. Sa probinsiya makapangayo pa kag kamunggay, kapayas ug tangad sa silingan. Palitan lang nimog knorr chicken cubes.... instant tinolang manok! First-hand experience.

I would want to: Japan or South Korea or Canada...

I was already given the chance and until now I still have that chance but I am choosing to stay.. no place like home jud, bahalag daghan way au dri..

I would definitely want to earn money and basically live in another country for the meantime...But definitely I will retire here in the Philippines and enjoy my hard earned money. Hoping to get that early retirement I have been wishing for, hehehe!!! If ever my kids would want to stay in the country where I worked then that would be their decision and I would understand. I would be making sure my kids are more Filipino in mindset and attitude though.
