I want to change jobs, is it practical?

ngano mag lisod man ka ug apply TS? Check lang sa mga job ads then send lang imong resume ug application letter. Of course you have to apply to those job opening nga you think you have the skills. D ka makabalo if naay company willing mo gamble to hire you if you will not do the first step which is mao ang pag apply. Check sa sunstar, mynimo, jobstreet ug ditona. Naa daghan mga hiring diha.

i know this is practical but i would like to ask if its ethical to apply for a job while you are currently employed? are there companies willing to wait for the resignation time frame in case i get accepted?

i am also in a dilemma. i am a graphic designer and working in an outsourcing company for 3 years. designing is my field also. pay is good... for the single. but now im married and baby is coming soon. i want to transfer to a good paying graphics company but sad to say there are a few of them and those few i dont think they are hiring. my last resort is going to the call center industry because of its pay. i had past experience with a tech account before i got back to graphics. my only concern is i might get bored in the long run and end up resigning again. maybe i need a motivation. my family perhaps would be the answer. its hard but its life.

hmmm TS pareha jud tag problem ron...i want to work sa akong field napud...been working in a call center for almost five years, originally i don't have plans of staying this long man unta...ke plano nako moresign after nako skul then moconcentrate sa akong field...recently lang naay event na nakaparealize nako na dapat mangita nakog better options...but but but everytime mo ana ko na moresign ko, a lot of people would say nah no kay sayang i'm earning a lot na daw and if mo shift kog field i won't be earning that much....mao na until now nalilibog pa me...

Sa panahon karon, lisod tuod mo trabaho sa trabaho nga dili nimo love. Pero mas lisod e love ang trabaho nga dili ka satisfy sa imong needs.

Dghan mn diay tang gusto mo shift into different field of work. Pero baliktad lng ko ky gusto mnko mo work ug call center. I believe dghan ko ug makat.onan sa bpo world. Then with higher pay pajud.
Sa panahon karon, lisod tuod mo trabaho sa trabaho nga dili nimo love. Pero mas lisod e love ang trabaho nga dili ka satisfy sa imong needs.

actually i came from a high paying job. pero dili lang nako love ang job.. i stayed for so long because of the salary package.

@kuyabog: I agree with u.. its all about the salary.. Right now, ako job kay lau rajud kaau sa ako course (which is BSIT).. but the pay is really good (60k a month after taxes) free na tanan laundry, accomodatiions etc... kapoi lang jud nuon..eheh
@TS: suggestion lang nko, these times its not just the BPO industry that is booming but the MINING Industry as well.. Why not try to send ur resume to mining companies, Im sure they would have a job for u..kay dghan na sila departments.. or why not try in companies who serve as contractors.. The pay and benefits are good..
