i think the problem with adapting to wireless power (not electricity) is that we have to completely overhaul our way of thinking.

AFAIK, electricity is basically electron flow. electrons are already part of matter and there are different ways to excite them so that we get electron flow (electricity). this is why solar panels, batteries and even lemons generate electricity.

your gadgets work by taking advantage of electron flow. if we can find a way to induce electron flow independent of any power source (battery, outlet power), then we have something better than wireless power. we have power on demand.

before anyone says this is impossible, remember that your body is already an example of a system that generates its own power to run itself.
