ryan22 is right! OA people are everywhere but cruxifixo is also right, they are mostly or majority of them are from callcenters and Sanosuke is also right, because nabag-ohan sa sweldo bisan katumpagon na ang mga balay ug monggos ug dukot lang ang kina-on, pagarpar gihapon! gadget diri, gadget didto, bar hopping diri, excursion didto!
it's even pathetic and a pity at the same time that a callcenter here is patronizing and advocating this rotten value in one of their hiring ads. talk about being a good employer.

and what do u mean by a dead end job Lyt? for technical people, those idealists who believes that their work should be in line with what they went to school for, dead end job gyud. but for practical people, d ka makaingon na dead end job.
but then again, i might be wrong... ^_^ so please enlighten me..
libog kos mga pinoy.. kung walay trabaho, cge reklamo kay lisud kinabuhi.. karon hnuon nga naay trabaho dakog sweldo, reklamo ghapon kesho dead end job dri, dead end job dha, stressful, etc.. etc..
haay, pinoy jud!

BTW, dead-end job is after being a supe there is no more room for improvement, it's all sideways from there. and don't even think of being a manager because that is a very long shot among hundreds of aspirants.
if you have what it takes, probably the call center peeps do considering their stringent selection and rigorous training, don't allow yourself to be a pawn. be an entrepreneur, because during cory and ramos time this WAS the thrust of the government. come GMA's time she wants our people to be slaves to foreign companies. look at other better countries in asia, the highly encourage entrepreneurship. it does not take a lot to be an entrepreneur but just a lot of guts. ...and look at exploited and continually being exploited countries, they remain poor until present because again, it is a DEAD END.
if one remains in a call center for the longest time, no offense but he will just remain a dreamer and this is the truth.
the biggest winner in a callcenter is the owner, the local contact and the clients. not even managers or supervisors because even these guys in a callcenter set-up, come and go and i have seen it happen a few too many number of times.
LytSlpr is right...Â* mas maayo jud mag negosyo... pero if brayt ta, samtang wala patay puhunan para mag tukod ug negosyo, manrabaho usa ta, unya ang atong sweldo dili nato usik usikan ug mga cofee shops, bar hoppings, island hoppings, etc...Â* ato kini isulod sa bangko...
Speaking about us being slaves to foreign companies, ok ra magpa slave, pero brayt nga slave...let's save money so in time na we'd like to establish a biz, id woudn't be so hard for us already, or use d money to buy ur own house and lot...
Ryt now, even thou im not connected in a call center, im also a slave of an american company, and I enjoy being their slave...it's really different if you're boss is a japanese or asians compared to americans....
