my mobo is asus a7v8xx. not something ud like. anyway, i combined the 2 modules already. i have geil 512mb on first slot, PQI 256mb on second slot. then, i experimented running now with no paging file. mas paspas loading. i played nfsmw, while downloading some games via bitcomet. i did that for 3 straight hours, but i didnt receive any warning or errors realting to virtual mem.

running programs with no virtual mem:

NFSMW using mini-image mounted on Alcohol 120%
Trillian Instant Messenger with 1 connection to yahoo
    Bitcomet
    Nod32
    Ad-aware SE Pro
    Speedtouch diagnostics

ill just open a new thread regarding this.

Thanks for the advise bro. I hope this could improve my Radeon 9550 cause I can't seem to improve the performance even with overclocking.

ur welcome bro. mind you, it all depends on the system specs. playing Call of Duty now, 4x AA in-game setting. maybe its not quite as heavy as NFSMW or BF2, but its a cool game.

CoD is a pretty old game which should run fast on a 9200, under what res are you using 4xAA and what are the other options you have turned-on/off

I've been using Omega driver quite a while now. I used it since I'm not contented with Compaq's available driver. ATI's site sucks since they don't have a driver for my video(old mobility radeon). Until I found this Omega driver an all in one driver, I'ts really awesome and I really appreciate it since I can play Warcraft & NFSMW smoothly. My laptop specs is Compaq EVO 180, PIII 1.0Ghz, 512 MB SDRAM & 32MB video.

"pretty old game?" Call of Duty 2 was released Oct. 25, 2005. not "pretty old". do u have a game there that was just released like yesterday? people are playing FEAR and NFSMW, are those the latest? they were both released oct and nov 2005, respectively.

m using 1024x768 and all options are set to high, even those AI smoke thing... if that really matters to you, or if you'll believe it.

FEAR and all latest games, even games that will be released now and probably 2 years from now will still be compatible with low-end cards like radeon 9200se and will still have options for AA and pixel shading based on system specs.

Why is this so? Its simply marketing. If game producers will produced games specifically for the high end market, they will ran into marketing problems due to limited consumers. People around the world still owns cards like this, or some old nVidia based cards.

your WRONG Call of Duty was released Septemper 29 ,2003 which IMHO makes it a pretty OLD game.
i dont doubt your settings and framerates on CoD2 since i can smoothly play the game at max all settings with 6x AA and 16x AF @ 1600x1200x32 =)

im amazed on the tweaks you use, since on my sisters comp which has a 9200 i cant get CoD2 to run smoothly with even 2xAA @ 800x600
