if we have not found another habitable planet, according to human standards, that is the result of our incapacity or the infancy of our science. it does not prove that there is none nor does it suggest that there absolutely is.

have you considered that there could be other life forms not based on carbon? what if other life forms in other planets in other solar systems are based on silicon? then that radically changes the definition of what are essential for a planet to be habitable.

open your mind. don't be a troglodyte like other fundies who have no ideological difference than the minions of bin laden

ur right Kalanrakas...the life forms we use to know are usually those that are organic in form; generally those that thrive in oxygen or anything that breathes. however, that is from a purely earthly description of a life form. "Organisms" in other planets "may have" a different form of existence or are driven by another form of energy. A stone in Mars may appear lifeless to the naked eye but who knows, it may have a life of its own that science may have to further inquire.
