it's usually the fans who are more confident even to the extent of having their team sweeping the opponents.. but it's just words anyway. it won't hurt a bit, except their egos.. I'm eagerly waiting for the Eastern Conference showdown of the Pistons and the Heat barring any upsets in the first round.

^^that's your POV, but it's not an easy climb for the Spurs either. the Suns would be red-hot as soon as Amare comes back in full force. the Mavs will be their second round opponent if there would be no upsets in the first. and those teams would a handful come play-off time. but I've got a question though, what if Tim gets injured? would you still be yapping your mouth? it's a big possibility coz he's still nursing an injury right now. if that time would happen "I told you so!!" would be ringing in your ears..

Popovich is very hesitant and careful in discussing their possible match-ups in the play-offs but the "fans", man!! they're like wolves ready to attack. I hope it won't be like the Lakers powerhouse with Shaq, Kobe, Malone and Payton where all Laker fans were frothing in the mouth and suddenly became silent when they lost to the erstwhile champs.

^^ you're right kuya... that's only my POV.. but you're talking of possibility that tim gets injured in the event of the match up. i like your idea, you're very safe.. but it is not a concrete reason as of the moment. future pa na! tigali tsismis ra!

if amare would play in due time or in the play-offs, that would be also a big adjustment to suns... there's an unknown disadvantage & advantage to the team.. you know it when it happen.

Popovich is even worried about the Rockets if McGrady is able to play in the play-offs. (if they ever reach the play-offs that is)

i don't think the rockets will reach the playoffs. TMac looks like he's done for the season. I hope he'll be healthy next season and Yao Ming maintains his play of late. Maybe they should change coaches na.
