"And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures, and the four and twenty ancients fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints" (Rev 5: bisag si martin luther ni too man gani ni Mary og nangayo siya og intercession usa pa siya namatay.
but again bro, the saints that the bible is refering are not only the saints that have been declared by the catholic church but those who Jesus has acknowledged as members of the church, the Christians... we are all saints and for every prayer that we make, it is placed in the vials that you have cited on the verse... that means, if you pray for our country, girlfriend, wife, relatives, love ones, other countries, people... it is placed in the vials... for we are all saints of the Christian church.... they cannot intercede anymore since they are gone from this place...

just a simple question bros... if you need help in praying for yourself, or Jesus needs intersession from the Saints, why would He say that He is the way the Truth and the Life and that no one goes to the father but through him when you can go there man diay with the help of Mary? wouldn't that contradict Jesus?

as you have said, if Jesus closes the door, mary opens a window? wouldn't that just throw everythign that Jesus taught us in the bible to trash?

I think I'm not, any church which doesn't claim authority over any written spiritual books renounces Peter as their head(in my opinion). So far, only the Catholic church claims authority(I'm not sure if there are still any other church), so I believe on the Catholic Church. The bottom line is, I do not believe in any church which doesn't claim authority over scriptures.
you are right... we do have a big difference with our faith... you all have said it yourselves, We solely base our spiritual life on the bible and we can only be saved by faith on Jesus Christ... you may say that the Catholic church is founded on the Rock that was set on Peter, I will definitely say you're wrong because it was not the Catholic church that was founded there it was the CHRISTIAN CHURCH - it was the first name that was given to those who believed in Christ, it was the name that was hunted and persecuted by the roman empire, not Catholics but Christians and all of us who believes in Christ are called Christians... and from the Christian faith rose denominations which was made by the "doctrines" of a denomination that rose because of power and influence in the European Countries (Kings and Emperors)... Catholic which broke into two... The Roman Catholic and the Protestants... then the Protestants had sub divisions, Orthodox, Pentecostal, Baptist and more...

The Catholics on the other hand when they want spiritual nourishment, we go to masses, hear some homily(and reflect) and join in the communion (kalawat and very important for us) of the body of Christ. Literally, for Catholics, the Vatican is really the authority for us. Ex. If the Bible says that the holiday is Saturday but if the Catholic church says, no, and move it to Sunday, then the Catholic Church pronouncements will be followed. That is a very big difference between our basis of faith. Another example, the Catholic Church teaches about limbo and the Catholic flock followed, but now that limbo has been padlocked, the Catholic flock again followed that teaching. That is how solid we are, a church founded on a rock which is Peter cannot be washed away by flood.

Ok i got it. so if your priest say you make an idol for Jesus and we will give tribute to that idol, buhatun ninyo? yun ang nakikita ko kasi, no offence ha. they kneel infront of the rebulto when it is stated in the Bible Jesus is the way the truth and the life, its a basic teaching wherein Jesus Christ ALONE is our way to Our Father God. It is in the Bible. Why mag buhat pa ug idols when pwede man ka mo pray directly, why magliko liko pa sa mga santos, etc... that is why naay saints, mama mary, etc because your church say it so? and even sa panalawat, naa ba right ang pari mo ingun your sins are forgiven? And, asa man ga kuha ang mga priest ug i preach sa inyo? diba ang Bible? I know RC cant be washed away by flood or any religion. I was once a RC but yun nga dami ko tanong tapos di masagot and i could read it in the Bible why are they doing this when it is clearly stated in the Bible na hindi yun dapat. if the RC leaders will say something, the Catholic flock follows? weird naman nun. point ko lang yan ha, no offence.
