Yeah, they are all saints and they have all my respect. They may pray for us.

Bro, I think you should understand that the Catholic flock depend on the Catholic Church for spiritual nourishment. And you on the other hand depend on your Bible alone. That is a very big difference. So please don't expect ordinary catholics to know ideas verse by verse from the Bible. That spells a big difference. The Catholic flock recognizes the Catholic Church as the final authority over the interpretations of the Bible, while yours on the other hand recognizes only the Bible, thus anyone who can read the Bible can interpret it anyhow he wants. That spells a big difference.

I believe he is just sharing his thoughts about what he has in his mind and what he learned from the Bible. Pansin ko lang sa thread natu those people who are not RC have lots of evidence, with verses in the Bible to prove about their points... I believe this is not an argument or a debate corner BUT a forum to share one's wisdom about God.

    PEACE!

Yes i understand, BUT somehow some verses in the Bible are very understandable and how come some people still do practice those beliefs that is not encourage in the Bible? Is it because your church or your priest say it so? If were talking about religion or faith, what is our basis? ofcourse Bible, diba? tell me other things, or educate me here. thanks.

    PEACE!

The basis of our faith? For Catholics the basis would be the teachings of the Catholic Church authority. Yours on the other hand is the Bible alone. So if you want spiritual nourishment, what you will do is open your Bible and read any page you want and reflect. The Catholics on the other hand when they want spiritual nourishment, we go to masses, hear some homily(and reflect) and join in the communion (kalawat and very important for us) of the body of Christ. Literally, for Catholics, the Vatican is really the authority for us. Ex. If the Bible says that the holiday is Saturday but if the Catholic church says, no, and move it to Sunday, then the Catholic Church pronouncements will be followed. That is a very big difference between our basis of faith. Another example, the Catholic Church teaches about limbo and the Catholic flock followed, but now that limbo has been padlocked, the Catholic flock again followed that teaching. That is how solid we are, a church founded on a rock which is Peter cannot be washed away by flood.

if your here to share only your ideas then theres no need to argue. no need to insist what you know, you can simply share it to us and we will in return try to understand it. some people here are saying they are not convincing us to leave the RC Church but from the way they say things obvious au na usa ra ang ila tuyo. to say sayup ang RC CHURCH. so what is the pupose of this?
to tell us to leave the Church and join them?

if your motive is to share your ideas, you can simple share it and not insist it. again we have diffrent understanding/faith with eachother.

    my 2 cent.

to all non Catholic who says they are not convincing us to leave the RC Church, here something for you.

if i tell you your wife/gf is cheating on you and i have evidence or whatsoever what do you think is my motive? do you think im only sharing my idea that your gf is cheating on you? id say leave her.
so you guys are telling us na sayup ang RC Church, so what do you want us to do?
    join you?

no bro... that's not what its trying to tell us...
what He was pointing out was, it was not time yet for Him to do miracles and to let people know who He is as the Messiah...

but on the statement that he gave out nga for the fact nga iya gitawag iya "inahan" diri sa yuta nga "woman" what does that impress on you... diba, kung normal lang nga tawo ang maminaw mura na siya ug disrespeto diba? murag makaana ka nga wala mani tahod sa iya inahan... but actually, Jesus did that to remind Mary who He really is and that it is not up to her on when, where and how He is to reveal Himself to us...

simply said bro, it telling us that even though Mary brought Jesus to the world and brought Him up, the connection between Jesus and Mary was just up to that point, when Jesus began His ministry, the mother, child relationship was then cut off...
