Guess it's safe to say they don't come with any less self-esteem than Larry Brown. Coaches have to die before receiving the kind of acclaim this Hall of Famer has, yet he's compelled to defend himself against Marbury's blither and blather.

Guess it's safe to say we know exactly who's answerable for uniting these two postulating posteriors and not having the commanding presence to demand their silence when their public bickering began months ago. This is what happens when the devil sells his soul to two divergent creatures of egocentricity.

In a state that has no-fault insurance and no-fault divorce, but never no-fault sports, it's safe to say there's no and every reason to spread the blame; presenting Isiah Thomas.

i guess LB has to undergo such difficulty after leaving the good/bad guys in Motor City... the dream to coach his favorite team NY is somewhat getting awry.

but i think LB has something to say about that as the New York Knicks won against Detroit Pistons hours ago, 105-103. Now that's something to be glad about... and im thinking of a spark here for the Knicks, maybe win 7-of-3 games in their next ten. If that doesn't still change their game, then LB's dream to coach his favorite team NY is getting nightmarish.

"While Marvin Williams has shown potential, Hawks fans will always wonder what Chris Paul would've looked like in a Hawks uni."

Nique (Atlanta): Why are you always busting on the Hawks for not drafting Chris Paul? The Jazz, if I'm not mistaken, passed him over, too.

Stein: You're right, Nique. The Jazz (who, incidentally, have to live with you holding out after the 1982 draft until Utah consented to trade you to Atlanta) are just as guilty.

    Except for one thing.

Paul wanted to be a Hawk. Let me repeat myself: Chris Paul wanted to be a Hawk. He also told me back in December that he had his best pre-draft workout for the Hawks. Factor in the position Paul plays -- one of the two toughest to fill, remember -- and you run out of wiggle room. No matter what it saw in Marvin Williams, Atlanta had to draft CP3. Had to.

This was even before the Hawks knew they'd be getting Joe Johnson in free agency. But you'll recall that Johnson's strong desire to leave a title-chasing situation in Phoenix for the long, difficult climb confronting Atlanta is one of the main reasons Hawks management was willing to part with so much to get him: Boris Diaw, two first-round picks and a $70 million commitment to Johnson.

Now? Not only would Paul and Johnson have formed a killer tandem; Atlanta would suddenly have two marquee players proud to call Philips Arena home.

It doesn't sound like much until you try to come up with a few more marquee names who long to be Hawks.

Had Paul revealed a fondness for Salt Lake City after slipping to the Hornets, I'd be roasting the Jazz more regularly.

...tsk tsk ganahan man unta diay si CP3 sa Hawks...

as of now... the miami heat is healthy, they can make big plays & come out in a hole a couple of times lately in their games. if they keep this focus & i'm sure they can beat detroit pistons in the conference finals (if ever) & also could beat whoever their opponent from the west.

i'm sure pat riley already did his assignments.... need only to execute very well by his players in the court!

^^ I beg to disagree. but an argument wouldn't solve anything, we'll only know up until the smoke clears if the Heat faces the Pistons in the playoffs. by the way, Detroit won against the Hawks 91-84.
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!

^^ yeah.... you're right bro... let's wait if they would meet in the conference finals. argument in this early time is not weighty. good plays would matter most if this chance put into reality.

it's hard to think/argue about this issue since the choices have already been made...

if chris paul was drafted by the hawks, they would have 30-35 wins this season, 5th seed in the east. but, there's nothing else we can do about it. maybe a blessing in disguise for the hawks though, what if chris paul re-injures and we'll be sidelined for 3-4 months or a situation like grant hill's? then marvin williams is playing decently, maybe a jermaine o'neal type of play without the toughness.

Miami is inconsistent in terms of offense throughout the game, if there's gonna be a heat-sixers match-up, i'd give the series to miami, 4-2.
