atheism may be a religion to others, to others maybe not.... respect lang gud ta sa idea sa others, though for me it would be "dumb" to consider Atheism a religion (by definition of the word Religion you can't say Aethism would be qualified) pero kung mao nai perspective sa uban so be it... magKagubot ramu kung inyu jud sila pugson nga d lageh na Religion when they want the way they consider it... All we have to do is to voice out our knowledge on this thing, we don't have to push others the way we interpret it...

This is wrong. Although contrasting in view, Theism and Atheism are both social concepts pertaining to the belief or denial of a a supernatural/transcendent force commonly referred to as gods, a god or God.

Religion in its strictest and normative use defines the concept of a god or gods which are usually based on literature or popularly called "sacred scriptures," passed-on traditions and etc that have been institutionalized by its believers/follower. It also prescribes the conduct to which its believers must adhere to as well as observance to the rituals/modes of reverence for a particular deity or deities.

Since Atheism denies any form of a god/gods, Atheism in its strictest and normative use finds no need to institutionalize anything and therefore is just another idea being left to the person who believes in it.

theism (thē'ĭzəm) , in theology and philosophy, the belief in a personal God. It is opposed to atheism and agnosticism and is to be distinguished from pantheism and deism (see deists). Unlike pantheists, theists do not hold God to be identical to the universe. I think Theism and religion are similar in a sense that they based their belief in an existence of a god.
