geesh, haven't been posting for ages.hahah..does anyone know where to get a metal tailpiece?Sige ra ko balik balik sa JB, wala gyud. MO larga na lang ko ani para makapalit kay my violin is in some sort of hiatus. tsk

Metal Tailpiece? Doesn't that affect the sound aside from making the instrument heavier?

dunno, naputol man akong tailpiece nya according to that tig-ayo, metal tailpiece kuno.

Tailpiece is the one at the bottom of the violin where the 4 strings are anchored right? Mine was made of plastic but I had it replaced with wood, mga around P300 man siguro tu.

mine was plastic too.I asked a violinist friend, wood kuno akong gamiton.ASa ka kapalit?Wala man gyud stock sa JB intawn last year pa ko sige balik2x.Manila is my only hope.hehe

dili diay sa JB.. karon ra ko ka remember. didto ko nipalit murag sa A.Salonga man siguro tu, katung branch nila dapit sa Sepulveda, diha dapit na sa Jakosalem. murag Sanciangko man siguro ang name sa street..

Does anybody here tel me where to find some1 who knows how to fix a violin? My violin has a
double sound everytime i hit a Re note..any string as long basta Re not mo vibrate with double sound..

I know of one who fixes (and makes) a violin. HIs name is Nick Amolong. He lives in Mambaling. I forgot his number too but maybe you can go there and ask where the Amolongs live.

Naay double sound? Like murag mu vibrate? Basin loose ang strings or basin naka igo ka ug lain nga string?

Ive been playin my violin dugay2x nasad..and i know if ma sayop ko ug hit another string or not. open or close
string na a gyud problema.d sad lo ag ang string ky naa man kong tuner. sakto man gyud. cge il try to find that
nick..i know nick pero taga Lupa Lupa, siya tig himo ug sista ng clasical.
