I was hesitant to have it done at that point but thought that since i was there, might as well give it a shot. After i said ok, he informed me that i had to leave a 50% downpayment. Stupid as i am, I did.

    Today, i called following up the status of my board since i havent heard from them. They said its hopeless. So i asked what made it hopeless, it took a while before the girl could tell me that there was no bios available. Big question mark on my head but i didnt bother to ask what that had to do with the display problem. I didnt insist anymore since i figure i have been screwed.

    What really pissed me off was that they told me i had to wait for a week to get my refund. If you went to a store and the cashier would tell you that you can just come back after a week to get your change, wouldnt you wonder why it will take that long when you gave them the cash outright? I asked the girl why it was so, she said it is their policy.

    She forwarded the phone to Gilbert and i asked him again. He was very irate when he said that he was just an employee and that he is only following company policy. I would have appreciated an apology that they did not inform me when i gave my deposit but to be yelled at for asking a very obvious question shows the customer service you expect from this company.

    Gilbert and I yelled at each other as he struggled with his english until he told me that its just 300, come and get it now and he dropped the phone. If it were that easy, why do you have to make your customers wait for money that is due them? I didnt bother to call back, i had no intentions of getting it today anyway, i just couldnt understand what the logic behind the 1 week wait was.

    They called me back just now to tell me i can come and get my refund.

    Its 300 pesos, its not much but its the principle behind having to wait for change. Had i been told when i gave my deposit, it wouldnt have been a problem. Also, being yelled at for asking a question is simply absurd!

    If anyone knows the new owners of this place, please let them know that their customer service sucks big time! BAD TRIP!

    i also had a bad experience with them.

    i had my 3rd mobo check nila kay mukalit lang pawong ang fan kung saksak na nku ang 4 socket sa mobo kadtong separate wires. the person that accepted my down payment didn't inform me na naa na diay cla 300 diagnosis fee. to my surprise pag tawag nku kay kuhaon na unta nku akong deposit giingnan ko na naa diay cla diagnosis fee nya hopeless na akong mb. the nerve of the gay representative kay giingnan rko na ila rang e reorient ilang mga tao na sultian gyud ang tanan customer about the diagnosis fee then hung the phone on me. aw malas cla kay miandar ang akong pagkamaldito kay pagtawag nku usab nag syagit nku. i asked them if they had a copy of any agreement that i signed that i was willing to pay for the diagnosis fee kay on part i didnt receive any. i asked if i could speak to any of the heads sa ilang office cause i find it very unfair to charge me something that we didnt agree on. to cut the story short mibahag rman ilang ikog pag ingon nku padak.un nku ang issue ug i report nku cla sa DTI for that unfair charge na wla man gyud ko nila gi inform daan. mao to na gihatag ra gyud nila full refund akong money.. who knows if they just accept all kinds of repairs and just declare it hopeless for all cases? that's easy 300 pesos for every transaction.
    anyway dili man unta to mudako ba kung fair lang ila rep nya tao kaistorya. kita nman nuoy murag utangan
    nya butangan pta sa phone without a clear solution sa akong gipangutana. fortunately it was all over now and will never do any transaction with those swindlers...

    Naa unta koy Guba nga hard disk(320Gb) and with waranty pa sa seagate kay 4 years man waranty ani... I am planning nga ako ipa ayo sa GV's because importante kaayo ang files nako bahala na ilaha na ang HD basta makuha lang nako akoang files. Pero when I read the threads, I dont think I could trust GV's Service.

    ug ma detect pa ni and ma access ang drive normally, u can retrieve them urself. naa mga freeware pang recover files. try Recuva ...

    Dili ma detect sa BIOS akoang hard drive... Asa ta ka pa repair ani?

    me too. kapoy cge balik balik. mas mau to before kay si sir ruel muayo. karon kanang ilang mga technicians cge lang ug pa choychoy murag walay knowing. wala na jud ko mubalik didto. kung si sir ruel muayo kana cegurado na dli back job but kung kanang ilang trabahante. ay sus. yaw nalang pangotana...
