mao na'y giingon saon ta man.
pero wa pud ko nagbasol kay wa man ko nagpangayo ug kunsomo ni GMA, bisan wala pa siya sa pwesto buhi ra man ko ug akoa. and voting for the person whom you think is the right one to do the job is not a crime or a malicious act. so in this respect, 'nagbasol' is not in my vocabulary, 'naminghoy' nuon naa.

and 'move on' is the most important entry in my vocabulary.
read post #571 of giddyboy, do you think your 'gibutaran' can escape that blackhole reality of Philippine politics? replace every name of GMA in that post with the name of your 'gibutaran' or any other candidate, and see that it doesn't make much difference. just not yet. it's not all about whoever the people put there in the top place that makes a big difference right now. it's the political culture, or more generally, the Filipino culture (that includes education, economy, etc.,). kung hugaw ang usa ka lugar daghan jud langaw.
Like if Jesus Christ were a Filipino, He would have been crucified three times already (Crucifixion I, Crucifixion II, and Crucifixion III) and yet humanity is still far from being saved. Salvation would have been still an ongoing process.
same with our situation, the big sweeping change that we always dreamed of about our country can only be achieved through each one of us. and that's big sweeping 80 million plus Filipinos. to think about it, it's mind boggling, painstaking, and seemingly impossible that most of us can't help but resign to reality. so, expecting instant results is simply unrealistic.
