I don't think I've ever flirted, even when I was younger and even when I was attracted to them. Girls/women have flirted with me, but if they didn't know me beforehand, most of 'em thought I was a total dick because I'd simply be ... meh, I don't care. If I found someone I really wanted, I'd bypass flirting ... that is so kiddie like and if they weren't attractive, they don't feel awkward because I don't treat them or the hotties any differently.
