Miami wins over Detroit, 100-98. D.Wade took over the game and scored 17 straight points in the final 4 minutes. That was a very dominating performance against the top defensive team of the NBA.

the Heat are still searching for their identity specially with all the trades and free agent signing in the offseason. they might even join the fray as far as the trade deadline goes..

I really can't help it... i've talked to a few people this week about the streaking Los Angeles Clippers and they think that they'll crumble early in the playoffs, pulling an early exit by themselves. Perhaps they're talking about the Clips record as a "fluke"... Man, im beginning to like them though.

In their 30-19, naa pa ghapon doubters. Can't blame them though... anyway, numbers about the Clips this season:

No. 2 in field goal percentage [defense] in the league,
    No. 1 in blocked shots,
    No. 1 in defensive rebounding,
    No. 1 in overall rebounding.

    Any comments on these people?

re L.A. Clippers: as far as the regular season goes, they've only beaten the Suns, Heat and Memphis as far as better teams is concerned. all the rest of their W's are with so-so teams. let's wait 'til the end of the regular season after their games with Detroit (1), San Antonio and Phoenix (2 each) and Dallas (3). we'll get a better picture of how they will fare in the playoffs. they are a dangerous team though as far as upsets go in the first round.
