Crysis doesn't take advantage of quadies, the fact is E6850, QX6850 & QX9650 has +or- 1 frame to each other with this. Even with bigger L2 cache doesnt help eithe.

The only game that took advantage that i've notice is suppreme commander but still not significant increase vs duo.

Crysis has no support for dual nor multicore, it is a single threaded game. try running it with CPU affinity 0 & 1 then try 1 theres no noticable difference..

that's surprising to know crysis not being multi threaded, i wonder why. maybe patches will bring some quad justice.

    Cyrsis is GPU limited.

Dirt is a multithreaded game... thats why you can't run it properly if you have a single core.

I find the review a bit poor as none of those software are truly multicore capable.

FSB never did matter alot to the C2D architecture a 333fsb at 3.0Ghz is as fast as any 400fsb 3.0Ghz system.

C2Q will be faster on any single or multi threaded application. i dont really see any reason at all to consider the E6850 unless you want to pay extra for a 10x multiplier
