Is flyover the solution Definitely NOT...Better use the money to build more alternate routes.

tsk... flyover is just a temporary solution... 2-5yrs siguro ra... kung flaired intersection samot ang traffic kay dugay kaayo stop to go tungod daghan paliko ug pa straight... imho the only solution is to build new roads to decongest banilad road plus strict CITOM.

But It seems like it's very difficult to remove them... surely the opeartors will make noise....

Therefore I would suggest to the LTFRB, they should make two franchises for the PUJs... Morning Franchise and Afternoon Franchise...

In that way, they can limit the number of PUJs... para dili tanang jeepney managan tibuok adlaw... it will help to ease the traffic...

And also they should strictly impose the PUJ's load and unload area....

nindot bai pero ang implementation lisod hehhee basin tingali odd-even scheme
i still go with road widening

if they build a flyover at the foodland intersection but do nothing at the CMALL intersection just a few meters down... wala ra gihapon.

PUJ's are a big part of the problem.. they stop at the middle of one lane and wait for passengers. they keep moving in and out of lanes sad. if you look at the CMALL, mao man na traffic coz while naa gamai na jeepney stop, daghan kaau mag huwat.. and the queue reaches the road, when you clear the cmall area, free flowing naman (kinda).

yeah your right... road widening is one of the solution.... but it will need huge budget and will take time...

Cguro the cheaper way nalang cguro is Rerouting some PUJ's....

rerouting will not help. PUJs going to talamban use only one major hgihway, and there's no other alternate routes available. implementation of the color-coding scheme or odd/even scheme, just as what manila implemented years back may help. its cost efficient and would definitely loose up the traffic
