    Getting there

Cebu is a peaceful city which makes it a very ideal business and vacation destination. It is well connected and is served with major carriers through direct international flights from Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Korea. It is also a few hours away from Bangkok, Jakarta, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, ensuring ease of air access for vacations and holidays. There are also direct domestic flights to and from Manila and other Philippine cities. From Cebu where the Mactan International Airport is located, the Camotes group of islands is easily accessible through short sea travel. There are daily trips from the ports of Danao City (motorized banca), from Mandaue City Ouano wharf (motorized banca) and from Cebu City Pier 2 (ferry boat).

Chartered flights to camotes are offered by Mactan-based companies.

    The realiable all-weather motorized banca.

my boyfriend and i spent our anniversary last year in camotes, and i'd have to say it's cheap..5k was enough for both of us (inclusive of island tour). we took the banca trip from danao and fastcraft on the way home (i just researched everything on the net before we went there to know what's the best route to take, the best time, the safest, and the cheapest coz first time namo ang camotes and we did not rely on the kaila ila system). we stayed in santiago beach (1000 per night aircon room gud for 2) and even ate there for our meals. for our tour, naghabal-habal ra mi coz we got acquianted with a man sa banca on the way to camotes and he offered the tour. he even took us to the pier on our way back home. gihatag ra nia og 600.. the whole trip was so sulit, depende sa diskarte.

bantayan is our best getaway place for both my boyfriend and barkadas. every year we're there. when u go to bantayan for a romantic time together, go to sugar beach, the cheapest resort there is (as low as 500 per night or at least it was 500 last year). we got a room last year that has two beds with fan for only 800 pesos. it's quiet, clean, and the area's covered with trees so there's definitely shade. pede ra ka makapaluto ni manang (the caretaker) for a 30p charge (sadly ni increase na cla sa ilang cooking charge, hehehe). so palit nalang mo sa market or manang and company will even offer u the catch of the day for a price (very cheap also) and u just decide how it's to be cooked and they'll do it. i'll say that 3000 pesos is more than enough for the both of u, but again, depende sa inyong diskarte.

P.S. best place to swim in camotes - mangudlong beach resort
best place to swim in bantayan - sugar beach resort (bon fire at night there is great, try it!)

try camotes island bai.. i think mas maka tipid nanyw worth it sad jud.. yea i agree 4thousand is sakto ra kaau! hehehhee..

200 each raman ang pliti sa boat, then maka overnight naka didto as cheap as 7hundred.. then abang kag motor2 for 150 a day or pa pick up ka sa resort na imong stayhan.. go to Camotes Islands <-- i think that would be the best site i can offer u!

if nahan ka ug lake house i can tour u there.. we own a lake house man then pa rent sad mi.
