hello sa inyoha nga nag business og sari-sari store, pwede ko ask asa mo nagkuha sa inyo baligya? direct supplier mo or kamo gyud mismo mangumpra para sa inyo e tinda? if naa moy supplier please paki share sa ila mga contacts. like sofdrinks, rice, can goods and among others.

Any ideas on how to manage a sari-sari store especially if you have 2 or more outlets. My problem is inventory tracking,. Darn... too many items... basin magic magicon lang sa tindera uban sales...waaah what do u suggest?

you have to manage it yourself. Meaning mangunay gyud ka...kay kon dili moloose gyud ka. even big companies experienced theft from their own managing directors and hr managers by spending so much on their meals and entertainment expenses and other expenses. Big companies has internal controllers and even then naa pa gyud makalusot. For small business, the only non costly internal control is you. Computers cant replace you. Bisan naa kay computer or mag list ang imong tindera manually pwede man lesser iya ilista di ba. and because of the variety of your inventories you wont be able to look at it one by one everyday or you will loose quality time. Maypa mag part time nalang ka, mas dako pa ka sweldo kay sa magsige og tan aw anang inventory nga ginagmay. Even family members get a candy or two.

The best way of looking if your business is losing because of theft is to see if your business can stand on its own. If you keep putting your personal money to buy inventories then there is really a malversation going on in your store.

this might worth a try, depende lang.

pwede nimo dramahon ang imong tindera.

request a friend, introduce sa tindera nga auditor ni and will visit the store every now and then, padad-a ug laptop with a working cam and a defective cam.

e-run ang laptop with the working cam, eshoot ug view ang mga merchandise such that maka kita ang tindera sa iyang nawong ug mga tinda sa monitor.

then ang "auditor" mo-explain sa tindera nga from this time on, e record na tanan transactions sa tindahan and real time makita sa auditor nya further, e remind sa tindera nga dili irogon ang webcam nga ibilin sa tindahan (katong defective) aron makatita ang auditor pirmi.

a penny for your thoughts:

1. in any business specially kung sari-sari store dapat and real owner ang magbantay (yes. i know you have 2 stores... at wala kang clone or kaluha para magbantay sa other store.. so this is out of the question)

2. kung manghod/igsoon or relatives ang magbantay, its not always an assurance nga honest sila... (im pretty sure youve heard stories na mismong sariling pamilya pa ang nagloko sa kanila.

3. solution? (ako ra ni nga idea) i-psy war ang tigbantay...
how?
A. before mo i-hire yung tao, hingan mo ng police clearance or barangay clearance sa recently nga gipuy-an sa imong tindera...
B. you tell a story (part ni sa psy-war) bisan dili...... nga adunay "tindera sa friend nimo nga nasakpan nga nanguha sa tindahan or dili honest then gipadakop sa imong friend, then gipadalhan pa gyud ang hometown sa tindera og blotter record sa mga pulis og picture ngadto saiyang yutang natawhan"

3. ikaw bantay sa usa ka tindahan, then usa ka tindera or sinaligan sa pikas store...

4. you'll create a habit sa imong tindera to list all the sales apil na ang mga candies, halin sa ice water, etc... everyday (you'll gonna do everyday monitoring for 2 weeks lang just to prove your point sa imong tindera nga seryoso ka sa inventory.after 2 weeks motuod na na ngtindera sa iyang trabaho kay na-train naman for 2 weeks)

5. sa start sa day, ipasulat sa inventory pila ang kwarta nga pang-sukli coz at the end of the day i-deduct man gud ang total nga halin minus pang-sukli nga money ... then thats your net sales for the day...
