How do you efficiently manage a sari-sari store

Any ideas on how to manage a sari-sari store especially if you have 2 or more outlets. My problem is inventory tracking,. Darn... too many items... basin magic magicon lang sa tindera uban sales...waaah what do u suggest?

Mao gyud ni akong dako nga pangutana anang mga general merchandising nga negosyo sir! dili gyud ko maka imagine binagsqa ehap sa tanan mentos/candies sa akong cafe gani! ambot lang unsay maka-tract ani. pwede man gyud cguro nimo tagsa2on ug ehap pero time consuming ayo unya para lang sa imong .10 centavos nga ginansya. ambot lang ani.

pila na diay ka months imong tindahan sir? imong pinaka lig-on nga ebidensya nga naay karumaldumal sa imong tindahan kay ang imong "sales trend". Mayta ikaw ang nakabantay maski 6 months lang sa imong tindahan para sweto naka sa imong sales trend unya imo dayon e-kompara ang sales nga imo nang tindera ang namaligya.

1 year na... pero i think i implement nako ang pagbutang ug computer sa store para iinput tanan sales... just like sa kanang dept stores bitaw.. so that if i check on inventory sa computer, dali ra, iphon lng nko if mo-match ang "stock at hand" and "recorded inventory".

what i know of this business is the owner should be the only one to handle the cashier. i had a neighbor b4 sa basak nga misalig sa iya longtime tindera nahibong lang sila nga mikalit lang ug kabankrupt ila store ug ang sinaligan tindera nakapalit ug multicab ug tukod ug balay dayon hawa.

bottomline is trust no one when handling the cashier same sa mga insik nga naa gyud permi sa store wholeday.

that's one thing i dont like about having a business with a lot of inventories...

but anyways, i can probably help u with this. inventory planner ko in the company im working and this company is also into retailing.

if your probably is only into inventory count dali rana...i've actually made a template here in our company to monitor daily

inventories (only the qty no costs involve) without using the COBOL system the company uses (actually, bati kaayo ng cobol so pls

lang if you want your inventory system matarung dont use it)...excel ra hinuon to pero dako ug tabang kay makita jud nimo ang

data needed...though ang problem lang is to start up with the actual count, you should set a time nga ma-determine ninyo ang

actual qty to start this up...hehehe ako gani takes me 4 days to do actual count, and not just me ha naapay uban nga ni

naay pc para maka monitor sa imng inventories...also you can use microsoft access just program it the way you want it :mrgreen:

May suggestion

1. inventory everyday.

2. ikaw mag bantay or your Brother, sister, mother, fathers, grandparents, cousin & relatives na masaligan

3. Naay kawat gyud kahit ano pa himo-on mo... so part na sa business. so we need to minimized that
