it was breath-taking for me....

the sounds of the gatling guns on the gunboats was like a freakin good music with their bullets zipping through the air punching holes on those bastard's body...I really love it.

If you feel that 'acting' is as simple as 1-2-3, then everyone in 'Act of Valor' should be nominated for an Oscar. Like any other profession or skill, there are nuances to how people deliver their lines or do what they are supposed to do--the key word here is finesse, and even if an actor is unknown, the finesse and ability articulate one's lines can create the atmosphere that really carries a scene, because we all know we are watching a MOVIE, and not a documentary. If this was a documentary, I'd say everything was right down pat, but it wasn't.
