ako pasabot ani ky taas kaau ang temps IF AND ONLY IF mag render sa 3dsmax. sakto ba?
so out of the picture na ang checking temps sa BIOS
like poldo said try another utility.

Yes it cant be disabled but some boards may have a way to bypass the thermal protection, my board has such option that disables the drop of multiplier and voltage when thermal protection kicks in but I've never tried enabling that function anyway, its also a possibility that its the board doing it but who knows till he runs RT 3.67
Gi test ra nako prochot at stock speed with +1 turbo, never tried anything else after ato.
well, that's definitely a possibility. if mao jud na ang case, i'd like to try overclocking the thread starter's system kay wala'y limitation. kuyaw lang masunog.
and this kids, is why you should read official documentations and do testing before considering hearsay. cheers, everyone!![]()
E disable lang ang thermal monitor sa imong board para dira kas imo mag testing pud
Unsa diay nga hearsay iya gi consider?
EDIT:
On what walay limitation note, I'll ask sa XS if disabling the thermal monitoring on my board will disregard the prochot signal, but Im not expecting it to do so.

i have mine disabled. like i said, no workaround over tcc and prochot. you may be referring to the processor's adaptive thermal monitor feature na user-configurable. (this one's under frequency and VID control in the datasheet)
Spoiler!
furthermore, "Thermal Control Circuit (TCC) is factory calibrated and is not user configurable." (kapoy na sige screenshotthis one's under adaptive thermal monitor.
as for the second statement, it was for everyone. i am encouraging reading over passive information.
Alright then that settles it, either a detection error or its not really throttling, we just have to wait for the RT 3.67 screen shot.
ang uban issue sa DTS (digital thermal sensor) na ginagamit sa intel kay mo stick at certain readings. for example:
assuming real idle temp is 32c, ang reported sa mga software utility kay 45c but when you do stress-testing, inig lapas sa 45c, musaka na siya up to the highest temperature pero inig stop nimo sa stress testing kay mupilit sa 45c even if the real temperature is just 32c. i've had this on my E5200 before, not really a problem pero annoying lang kay magtuo ka nga init imong processor bisan bugnaw kaayo ang palibot.
@ TS: any updates?
anyway, question lang guys... murag init ra lagi ni akong i3-2100 aie...
idles @ 38c
loads @ 73c
just bought it 2 days ago and using stock cooler pah...
will try re-applying thermal paste later... hmp
^ don't hi-jack the thread, bai.![]()
as for your question, lisod mohatag ug opinion kay wala ka'y ambient temperature. what if, naa sa oven imong CPU, tag-as jud ug reported temperature. as for the stock cooler, designed to handle the rated TDP sa imong processor ra jud so don't expect too much.
