Are there anyone who has a IntelMAC Developer Transition Kit in here?

Are there anyone who has a IntelMAC Developer Transition Kit in here?
bai tolstoi pwede ni cya?
http://www.arctech-pc.com/f_items.php?product=packages
kinsa may maka install ani ug tarong diri, bisan suholan lang nako
kundi kinsay naka setup na nga pwede nato testingan ug mga mac audio apps
bai Joel..accrding sa article na ako gi post sa babaw pwede na basta mga latest intel processors [LGA 775 package]..wla pa sad ko kasulai ani kai i have an AMD system..mao nga curious kaayo ko sa gi-post ni anton000 kung unsa iya system..wala pasad reply..

crap... here we go again.. i just got a fedora on my test machine. nya naa nasad ni hehehe
bai tolstoi, akong gisubay ang forum sa OSx86 nya naka padagan sila sa new gen sempron kay naay sse3, but naay stuff sa osx dili mo dagan and dili sila maka high res sa video, mo ungot2x pa ang dvd. This is because OSx mo support ra ug intel media something, ang nvidia ug ati dili maka padagan sa ilang complete drivers![]()
nag huna huna man gud ko ug upgrade to dfi ultr infinity with 3200+ venice but nag tanaw2x na lang hinuon ko ug LGA 775. Di ba mao ni ang init kaayo?
^yep intel processor with LGA775 socket is a prescott core..known kaayo ni nga init..stable hinuon bisan init pero palit lang nindot na cpu cooler..
kung taga cebu ni c anton000 cya pa guro una naka pa run ug OSX sa PC diri..asa namn ka bai anton00?
btw..anton00 is using P4 2.42 Ghz w/ 256MB ram..i dunno kung prescott ni or northwood core iya gamit..then unsa sad brand sa iyaha motherboard

btaw ask sad ta feed backs oi.. basin wala na to ni balik kay he had his system messed up or that screenshot was just edited![]()
Sorry for the very late reply.... busy kau ko for the moment
Anyway im running a P4 2.4 northwood based chip meaning it is only capable of doing the SSE2 instructuion set.
The rosetta system sa mac requires SSE3 instructions to be able to run most mac applications. Fortunately enough, someone made a patch to enable the rosetta top run with SSE2 chips... but this does not mean na you can run most mac applications.
As far as i know, as long as your chip has SSE2 or SSE3 then you can run mac os on your x86 based box. Although only the later allows you to run high-end mac apps (eg. Final Cut Pro) I'm currently in an net cafe so I dont have my bookmarks with me right now. I will post a follow up to this post when i get home.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSE3 <-- check wether your cpu has SSE3
As promised....
here are a few sites i used as guideshope this helps you... if not I'll do my best to help you.. just post ur questions...
1. http://www.uneasysilence.com/os-x-pr...n-ordinary-pc/ <-- the first to discover macos on intel
2. http://www.360hacker.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=158
3. http://www.xplodenet.com/blog/guide....ve&ssetype=two
As I've said in the post above.. I am using a northwood based chip thus incapable of doing the SSE3 instruction set... So what I did was used the patch version.
Also, the links above require you to use the Ubuntu live cd and a usb drive to allow you to use the GNU dd program to burn the iso to your target HDD. I found a better way to do this without using the ubuntu live cd. Here's how![]()
kalimot diay ko......
- whatever the size of your hard disk.. because this is an iso burn, the actaul size mac would use would only be 6GB (from the original installation from i dont know where)
- and no, you cant resize the size of thespace mac uses.... walay tool sila para ani.... (well wa pa koi na dungan na naa)
- If you want to use the entire HDD there is another installation pero mas hasol.... if you want to do that... last link above would point you to the right direction....
-In any case just post questions, I'll try my best to help ... ciao
- I suggest you guys use spare HDD as this process can corrupt data in your pretty good HDD if you use partition
1. I got the mac os file by doing this search on my favorite torrent site “VMWare files for patched Mac OS X Tiger Intel”
This is a 1-2GB .tar.bz file, you can use win rar to unzip this compressed package. (this file contains ISO, although it says VMware on the search... this iso can also be run natively)
2. Get Forensic Aquisition Utilities here: http://users.erols.com/gmgarner/forensics (this collection of tools has a dd.exe command which is very similar to GNU dd program)
3. do the command dd if=c:\tiger-x86-flat.img of=\\.\PhysicalDriveSomething <-- if you are not sure of what u are doing please don't procede......
- PhysicalDriveSomething here pertains to the physical location of the HDD drive you want to install mac os on....
- u can use microsoft's WMI browser (downloading required) or.... check in your device manager.... in the disk drive list, where u can see your spare HDD,
right click the HDD icon of ur target drive... view properties.... here we can find the physical location of our hdd... (eg Location 1(1) ; your primary drive
would almost always be Location0(0) .. as the case in mine) Thus now u have ur physcial drive location...
dd if=c:\tiger-x86-flat.img of=\\.\PhysicalDrive1
- after pressing enter the command would seem to hang... but your apre hard disk would be moving.... I suggest watch t.v. as this would take a little while
4. Reset, log into your Bios.. boot from your spare HDD... welcome to OSX
