automations testing? using Labview? that's chicken.. auto install drivers re-image machines on what flavor of the OS you want (mac, XP, Vista, liniz, unix you name it) just a matter of few clicks then you will run your againts your test cases.. run over night then in the next day report is ready for analysys sus ignoranteha sad nimo dong oi.. and test results pa gani pivot table auto query from the tools using the spreasheet siga gong mata sa mga amerikano how did the pinoy engineers automated it it is a pretty simple soulution but it makes their life easier cause the don't have to watch with test cases over night and save money for the company bot bot nimo dong oi ma ayo pay mag production worker ka sa TI balik basig gi mingaw nakag hakot2x alsa2x sa chips si TI sud nimos sako haha

I have friend sa Agilent Tech ngilngig kaayo dong kanang wireless nimo nga USB mouse? sus a fellow Filipino was the one leading alll the indians+chinese+ american engineers ana.. ay nalang pa fil-am 2x ka? I hate those wannabies slang2x my arce nga look at your nose di ba di gyud na ma usab flat nose ra gyud gihapon na pareha ra tag agianan's hangin dong hehe

@rance i know labview is a simple test tool did i say lisod? what i said our technicians could do it for you...ok i will give u'a case becoz u claim maayo kaayo ka sa labview.

build me a micro interrupt contoller fixture...that could detect interruptions as short as 1us but it should also consider a glitch if it's duration is 10us, i want 32 channels that could query if there's a simultaneous interruptions in any of those channels. and i want u to design me a code that could gather data from a vibration machine well let's say your code could decode a 1g to 5g of force accelaration in a sine on random power density spectrum type in 50hz to 1khz spectrum. ok that's all. Are you up to the task? I want your hardware specs also. remember our technicians at baguio could do it for you...u should know this stuff kay taga lexmark man kaha ka....coz lexmark in conn. do some vibration test for their printers......

Let's just not argue with each other. The important thing here is that BPO is benefiting our country immensely. It is creating employment, and stirring up economic activity.

The good news here is that in the next few years we could be at par with India on BPO, industry wise.

oh nows... I don't know how to use LABVIEW....

lol.. not all engineers knows that coz we have different type of engineering to do... unsay pagtuo nimo, printer ra mahimo sa mga engineer sa pinas?

of course kung bag'o ka ana sa field... you need some training to do... you might be good on what you do today... but you are zero knowledge of what we do here...

I don't think there's a need to discuss which engineers are better etc etc.. we're all Filipinos here. the fact that there are Pinoys (who graduated in the Phils) who excel and are employed internationally including R & D functions is a testament that there is a big possibility that these big shot companies would one day open up shop here in Phil soil.

and rumsfield, even if you're connected and employed with known companies such as TI or what have you, I'm pretty sure you don't have a say if a US company such as TI would have an R & D division in the Phils do you? I guess you can give opinions if asked.. but that's it, just opinions 'coz the final say is made by your bosses am I right?

since that's the case, leave the decision making to those who have the power to do so.. like the top brass of said companies..
