    home at last.... nothing feels better than seeing my mom smile...
    her smile gives me strength...

    my eyes are tired reading a book this afternoon and reading all the messages from my boyfriend.

    being a mother sure is one tiring job but a very rewarding one as well. i am proud of how they are growing-up. resigning from my job is worth it. though i know there may be some who would rather leave their kids to yaya's so that they can work. i'd rather work at home and be with them and be able to monitor them. lahi ra jud kung naa ka sa balay kay ma make sure jud nimo nga sakto pag atiman sa yaya ang imong anak. cook their favorite dishes and have the assurance that they are eating the right kinds of foods. i have no regrets in quitting my job.

    here i am again back to moderating the forums, this is what i do after i put all 3 of them to bed, awake at this ungodly hour. helping my hubby in maintaining this site. a lot of hard work went into this, a lot of time spent. working here is also very rewarding. being able to help people one way or another. it is nice to know that we have touched people's lives.

    Pwede mag chat diri? I guess pwede siguro kay ang atong mga moderator moms nag chat man. Anyway I have 3 year old daughter. She likes to watch barney, elmo and sesame street. Kaya lang she cant speak straight until now. My analysis is that she might have a hard time speaking bisaya straight because she is exposed to english. YOu know when she pronounced the word tatay she pronounce the the "t" like an American. So the sound goes like "Cha chay"

    Wat can you say? IS this okay?

    @mamistahay: It's alright to give a comment relating to a previous reply. As long as it's within context, related sa iyang post, and sakto pud sa topic pwede na.

    About you're 3 yr old girl, I think mas sayon litukon ang bisaya kumpara sa english. Akoa sad 19-month old girl, dili pa kaayo moistorya, she tries very hard magkayungit na nuon kung iyang paspason. Wala siyay "l"... she calls her lola "lowa", her daddy "daey", sometimes "tae".... hahah I told my husband "you know what "tae" means in bisaya? it means shit" you're daughter just called you "shit, shit" hahaha.

    Naa na siyay phrases that consist of two to three words, pero dili pa gyud deretso. She loves barney too, elmo of sesame street, wiggles, doodlepops, and Hi-5.

    @n'gel

    SO you want your girl to know bisaya more. Di ka siguro gusto mawala ang imong pagka Cebuano On my part, I want my daughter to speak English to help her in the future. Sa ato present situation man gud gamit ang English. Medyo reverse ang ato i pa learn well because of course english naman gud so its quiet easier for her to learn.

    Anyway, please continue sharing your experiences as a mom para I could get some lessons too. Its a challenge to be a parent but its rewarding too. Seeing your kids after office lightens up what could be a stressful day.

    Best regards.

    mamistahay, my almost 2 year old kid (he'll be 2 in 2 months time), but i already teach him that he is 2 na. we speak english here at home. he learns his cebuano dialect from the kids outside and from his yaya. he watches wiggles, elmo, ice age 2, teletubbies and any new movie that i introduce to him. he follows the way they sing and dance. it is ok. just let time take its course and be patient with your child. always talk to her in straight sentences not baby talk, so that she can pick up words from you. exposure is one great teacher. you can also read books together. have fun with her.

    my blog for today
    right now my bugoy is as what he said "helping yaya" (writing/doodling on a piece of paper, because his yaya is doing her assignment). he is still wide awake at this hour and i am just letting him have his own time to get tired. i have been trying to put him to sleep for 2 hours now and he is still as active as can be. hehehe...kids

    nahuman na jud intawn ug modify ang boards. maka sayo na jud mi ug tulog ron kung sayo sad ni matulog among bugoy. ga sugod na ug roll call, i can hear him talk while i am doing this, naa siya sa kusina with his yaya. hahaha...maski sleepy na ko malingaw lang ghapon ko sa iyang mga antics.

    buntag na hapit. no classes for my big bugoy and half day for my little girl. feast day sa ilang school today. 3 more hours before i wake her up. she wants to go to ayala later, wa ni sugot iyang daddy and i still have to tell her that when she wakes up.

    mao ra jud ni akong routine. wake up early, pukawon kids para school, go back to sleep, wake up again when raddi wakes up. breakfast, lunch, prepare dinner, when the kids arrive atimanon para sa ilang assignment and sa ilang pag-ilis. dinner then prepare them for bed, moderate the boards. it may sound monotonous but it is not. everyday is a new day. today was not that hectic kay wala sila assignment. at last ma sleep na jud mi...yeheey...nahuman na siya browse sa news. headline - Arroyo rushed to the hospital. got to read more of that when i wake up later.
