Sorry for being so historically challenged my dear TS... Like I said, we have our own opinions. I base my views on how I see her as a historical icon. I stand by what I believe of her as an instrument of our freedom and the people power is just an effect to that instrument.. If I can say it in a scientific equation:

CORY is the stimulus, PEOPLE POWER is the response of the people's faith

I'm not here to make intellectual remarks coz am no history major, I am just fond of making interpretations (with respect) of our people and history.

Anyhow, she may not be great in other people's views, but she was an instrument of bringing back democracy. If you have seen Abs-Cbn's past interviews why she ran for president, because she was the oppositions top contender. Because no one else has a greater power and influence than her. How could she bring back a country who had fallen into great depression into great debts in a span of 6 years/ 1 term? Lots of people understand that being the president is very tough. It's not easy to be the president but she accepted it. She even said that she is hurt when criticisms are thrown to her, but she courageously face it.

I salute her faith... her belief in God. Some people may never realize but she did love our country... She may be a puppet in others eyes, but she did great in being strong.
