ants in hdd = destroyed hdd

Tinoud the Ants are everywhere, I remember pud when we stle in our new home within the first year the light switch,water aquarium pumps, telepone,2 Hardisk, lcd monitor,telephones,modems,broken tyles and storage styrofoams.this where floaded w/ ants. Then oneday i search all the entry point in all side of the house were they started. i dig some garden soil and found a lot.I was sceptic not to destroy them but i have no choice theyre invading and distorying things. Flash all killing liquids and aerosole I can find, then each week when its always raining. Bec i do believe they migrate to safe dry warm place for safety and to store food for the queen.The queen maybe is underneath of something that water cant reach like several feet under the house.or a boulder, After regular check up whew I Thank God they arent to be found for 4-5 yrs na!Only in far frm our areas.

Had the same problem with my Vaio - I had mine checked with by a technician unfortunately my HDD was damaged beyond repair

himuon na nila ug balay - if its seagate and if it has still the RMA warranty - clean it and return

thats why karon, naa najud ko raid sa ilalum sa table

Naka experience sad ko ani with my samsung f3 drive, i left it on my table and in less than 6-8hrs it attracted so many ants.. may gali naa ra sila sa gawas sa case..

dili anay boss, kanang gagmay nga red ants... kasuway pd ko ani sa ako keyboard ug lcd... kabasa ko nga grabe kau ni nga hitabo sa texas man guro to, nga halos tanang appliances(mostly AC) kay gi puy.an sa mga red ants...

nahitabo na gyud ni sa akoa three weeks ago... nahibulong lang ko nga daghan kaayo red ants nga gasubaysubay sa mga wires sa ako PC... sus, ang mga giatay, naa ra sa sulod namuyo sa HDD.. perting limpyo nako ug taktak para makuha sila tanan... ang ako gibuhat kay ako gibutangan ug chalk (kanang baygon chalk, anti-ants) ang surrounding walls hasta luyo sa ako casing akong gi-kuris-kurisan ug chalk.. giapil sad nako ang casing sa HDD hasta ang table na gipatungan sa ako PC... aw, kaluy-an sa Ginoo, wa na gyud mamalik ang mga tinuhak nga humigas..

EDIT: ok ra diay ako HDD, wa maguba... =)

Hi tech na kaayu ang mga humigas karon...hasta mga gadgets/hardwares naman sad ang ilang tirada.
