ana jud na sa-una, masters are not open to other styles pareho sa sensei nako sa karate tuo niya the best ang karate , pero an individual will not grow if he is not open minded.

Baddog, Kaila ka ni Benny Besa? What can you say about him? How about Donald Gillera? (hope I got the spelling right)...
I know both of them to be very good and recognized Tai Chi instructors in Cebu... In fact, they used to be very good friends and partners until they went their separate ways (I bet you know the story, being a Tai Chi instructor yourself..)
Both sides claim to be better than the other and there have been some very close encounters of the physical and violent side (and unfortunately not the martial artists' usual way) some of which involved friends and students of both sides...
Anyway, not to dwell on the issue and Im not in any way trying to instigate any reaction (good, bad or otherwise)...
Just want to get an opinion from another Tai Chi Instructor like yourself...
Thanks and my very Best Regards....
By the way, Your idea in uniting the different martial artists in Cebu is an excellent idea...
Hope you agree with me that it feels good if we can unite our own Tai Chi Community in Cebu... I practice Tai Chi myself... I know both instructors and it will do us good if they reconcile and become friends once again and perhaps see them teach / practice together again... If we can reconcile these two instructors then it can perhaps set a precedence in uniting the other clubs as well... After all, isnt promotion of peace, discipline and camaraderie the essence of all martial arts?
