Luod sad ni iya technique da.

@Dorothea... Kay lain man gud paminawon nga "Filipino culture" ni. Madamay tang uban diri. Bisan gagamit ug tubig, wa man ko kaila nga magbasabasa sa ilang office toilet cubicle, o di lang maklaro kay hugaw2 man jud nang mga public cubicles diri.

@chad_tukes... yeah, this guy actually "had been warned" several times... so sige jud ni siya gamit sa office restroom... nganong di man ni siya malibang sa balay... yeah, I understand na sometimes people have to go, but as chad_tukes indicated, anad na tang magpugongpugong pud kung naa sa public places kay no toilet paper or no convenient place to wash.

I think giving this case importance is unfair to other OFWs. Filipinos are known to be resilient and we are very adaptable. There are OFWs in the Middle East who cannot eat pork. There are OFWs in the Middle East who cannot own a rosary or a Bible. There are OFWs who have been laid off in this financial crisis and the DFA cannot or did not do anything about their fate, except that they may have to come home. Unya, kani siya, iya lang biyaan iya job tungod sa iyang sensitive nga lubot ug di siya ka sawd sa tubig nga gigamit niya ug hugas.

if you've heard on the radio, the main reason he was fired was not because he was using water to clean himself, but because the CR was VERY MESSY after he uses water to clean himself. AND he was warned, yet he did it. the radio station called up the company in Australia and they said that you can even see feces particles on the rim of the bowl. For me it justifies their actions, and Philippine media really cover up stories sometimes, thus we lead into unsuitable conclusions.

if what was said is true, that this was an ongoing issue, messy toilet and all, and Mr. Bernabe just wouldn't budge, and even left and never came back, i think he should be sacked and terminated.

on the other hand, if he was simply used to using water instead of toilet paper, and his coworkers find it "different" and should be prohibited, then i think that company should straighten up.

ako lang pod... does he also bring soap?

Have you been to an office which have bidets? Where?
Maybe this guy should've asked his company to install those highly sophisticated bidets from Japan. Although common in hotels, I haven't seen any public toilet that has this contraption!

I think he should be fired for health and safety reasons. Remember theres a lot of companies recalled their products due to ecoli contamination that came from human feces. Factory workers are sterilized to prevent these from happening. Only in the philippines these practice are tolerated. Not that I havent tried this before but looking back, how many households in the philippines got sick with diahrea. Bringing a bottle of water inside the washroom is just unacceptable. Even bars nowadays, you cannot bring any beer or liquor inside.
