I think you should be talking to the right people for this... You need to approach those who have been keeping the music scene alive... And those who were busting their assess just to host and create events so that local bands may have something to look forward to. I may say, you need to start from scratch though. Music scene, correct me if I'm wrong, may have started in the late 80's. You may not be able to find some of the people who were part of that era. But it's worth a try!

hi bald_charma. thanks for your inputs. i am following this thread through notifications sakong email. mga next year nako maablihan gyud ang blog site. lisud kaayo tinood. walay nag email nako ug first-hand stories. the outcome of this blog site if you ask me, ambot kaha. pero ganahan ko nga ako gyud mabuhat ni. however illiterate i am with web hosting, html, etc.

i want to help you but dunno how or in what aspect.hehe but anyways, im with this production called Southern Artists United(SAU). Basically, what we do is, we put out small events. our little way of supporting the music scene nya tabang nasad sa mga new bands ba. atleast help them to kickstart their musical endeavors and we also had a compilation CD which we released just last February. i dunno how i could contribute to your blog site. just tell me something, maybe i could help you out on something.
