Obviously pre-rendered (aka stationary images as background) will look better than 3d-rendered background. (Maybe as of today of course) ^_^ Capcom has been using that since RE1 upto 3 plus 0 and RE1 remake. ^_^ Its about time they use 3d-rendered background (RE:CV was the first for them to use it though.) and be consistent with it. With the power of the next gen consoles esp the "supa" expensive PS3, I expect them to be more creative and continue using 3d-rendered background 'coz pre-rendered backgrounds are old school. ^_^
