Protect economy by buying Filipino First Product is a good idea.... but what exactly does that mean? We can raise the national capital by buying our own products? true.... but what if the purchasing power of the citizens has been drained by war? more likely that will happen than not... hunger knows no allegiance, and the masses will be prone for black propaganda against the government... civil war can break lose.... war must be calculated to the detail so that there is something left to protect when the debt collectors will demand for their money when all the dusts of war settles down.... I suggest our economic specialists will be included in the planning of war... hugtanay tas bakus ani...

"For once and for all, we (AFP) should admit first that there had been operational lapses that led to this
    incident.

SF nga sila, they were properly trained, yes.

But Basilan is a very very different theater.

The whole Island is an Enemy itself. The people you talk to today can point a gun in your head tomorrow.

    Remember the beheaded Marines?

All along they (Marine Commanders) knew who perpetrated the be-headings and the worst part of it was, the
mastermind was not whom you would have thought it was.

And then came the BATASAN Bombing.

What came out of the investigation of the Batasan Bombing?

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I'm not putting this issue back because I'm a soldier who wants war.

I would want war if the whole of Mindanao is in the brink of being overrun by the rebels.
But the Basilan incident was a failure of the AFP itself. Lessons are not being learned because
we are fool enough to deny any failures in the past.

Politics have tainted the Military culture for decades, and it continues to do so especially in Mindanao.

hate and pointing fingers will do no good at all.. it won't even help the current situation.. and it won't bring back the dead...

kita kusog kaayo ta musaway.. ato sang paminawn ang mas nkabaw sa situation.. ang nka experience jud unsay gubat.. which is atong mga kasundaluhan..

unsa may alamag nato parti ana nga civilian rman ta... the least we can do is to support our troops.. motivate them instead.. if a war breaks out for example for sure dghan jud masamdan.. they will need blood.. ako im willing to donate.. its the least that we can do..

im no PNOY supporter and i do support an all out war... pero i think it needs a lot of planning... can't waste another precious life... dghan pa kaayo problema ang pilipinas ni.abot pjud ning gubat sa mindanao.. our president is no superman..

Well bai, if one week ra, minimal ra ang effects..... hopefully its that easy... that's why the leaders must be very detailed in their strategy to cut the war as short as possible... if ma prolong ang all out war, that's where mu gamay atong purchasing power.... history tells us, no one can predict the length of wars.... the war between Confederates and Union in the American civil war was expected to last for weeks....but it ended in several years.... Hopefully, MILF can be extinguished in weeks...at least around 200billion ra magasto ba...
