Troops have low regard for the Chief

There is widespread demoralization in the ranks within the Armed Forces because of a perception by soldiers, rightly or wrongly, that they are being fed to the dogs.

Their commander in chief, President Noy, is playing dovish when the situation calls for an all-out war with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

The soldiers, especially those in the field, want to exact the enemy’s blood for the blood of their comrades who were killed in an encounter with MILF rebels and Abu Sayyaf bandits in Al-Barka, Basilan.

If the soldiers continue to think that the President is a weakling because of his stand to continue with the ceasefire agreement despite the Moros’ intransigence, I hate to see the outcome.

Vice President Jojo Binay, who’s a colonel in the Marine reserve, is just waiting in the wings—if you know what I mean.

And, of course, you know what I mean if you’re wise enough to read between the lines.

God bless the Philippines if what most perceptive Filipinos fear would come true!

Wala na sila "naghulat nga managhan ang casualties." Dili sayon bai kung mag decide ang malacanang.. Like what happened during the GMA admin, they were victims of the "Damn if you- and Damn if you don't" criticism..
Dapat balanced imo assessment before ka mu decide. Dong maski pabor ko gubaton ang MI, PERO DILI SAYON ANG ALL-OUT-WAR..

Lisod kaayo kung tanan nimo desisyon nagdepende sa imong gibati or emotion..

Bai aware mi tanan that you really abhor our current president and maybe because you still haven't move on sa pagkapildi sa imong manok, imoha pud na. But your comment doesn't in any way help the situation.. Aron makasabot ka, consider a comment from an officer:

But the Basilan incident was a failure of the AFP itself. Lessons are not being learned because

Politics have tainted the Military culture for decades, and it continues to do so especially in Mindanao.

Sa parte ng ARMY ayoko nang magsalita, sana mali ang iniisip ko pero marami na akong alam sa mga ganyang bagay.
sana hindi sila naging oportunista na nagresulta sa trahedya."

what about ang g sulti sa spokesperson sa army dili to enough reason ngano gusto ang uban ug all out war?

dapat makihabaw ang MILF kung kinsa ang BOSS..we should negotiate on the strong side.
